Spring Fieldcap, Agrocybe praecox. I adore these edible #mushrooms. They create some incredible designs on their caps as they grow. Always reminding me of a fancy pastry, not dissimilar of pan dulce! 🤤🍄 #fungifriends

Top view of a brown mushroom cap that is splitting as it grows, creating deep white crevices/canyons that make a unique design on the cap. Surrounding the mushroom is woodland forest floor duff, with pinecones and moss.

Side view of a brown and white mushroom, showing more detail of the mushroom cap with its deep grooves and ridges. Cones, moss, and some branches surround the mushroom.
