It’s been a frustrating, scary, exhausting day on so many fronts, so I’m just gonna post some of my dahlias. This new hobby has been a lovely bit of joy in my life this year.

A collection of dahlias sits on a table. Some are tight ball forms, others big blowsy loose blooms. They are various shades of yellow, pinks, orange, red, and purple.

A light red dahlia with neat and regular tightly packed petals. The petals are a pinkish red with lighter pink edges. The center is magenta because it hasn’t fully bloomed. In the background is lush green overgrown grass.

A beautiful perfectly regular dahlia with pointed lilac pink petals in front of a wooden fence.

Two large red dahlia blossoms with lighter edges in front of a wooden fence. They are surrounded by several buds in various stages of blooming.
