Whenever I start thinking about exosuits and sci-fi armors, I always start thinking about Armored Core because I absolutely adore big mechs and robots with big guns. I've had an idea for a mech taur character inspired from this concept page for Armored Core 4/For Answer of an Eqbal quadleg design.

Part of a page of concept art for Armored Core: 4 and For Answer featuring some various leg designs with all text in Japanese.
Top half, from left-to-right, shows two drawings of reverse-joint legs with one standing taller than the other, and a third drawing of quad legs.
Bottom half, from left-to-right, shows 5 quad-legged designs including one symmetrical design with four long legs.
Second design has more stout legs that are larger and further to the sides in the rear while shorter and closer together in the front.
Third design shows quad legs that are very closely designed like a horse's body.
To the right of the third design are two smaller diagrams showing a pair of centaur quad legs that are blockier above, and sleeker legs with a tail below.

Been thinking about ideas for a cool sci-fi armored space suit for my Mantled Beast... The idea of the rhombus on their visor projecting an inch above a self-assembling helmet's plating (think Dead Space series RIGs) sounds so cool. Could even illuminate the area they're facing too!

This mechataur character would be synced with a pilot (think Titanfall mech-pilot links) but can work independently when they disembark. Directly inspired by Armored Core (especially VI: Fires of Rubicon's "Ibis" mechs/C-Weapons, mostly IB-07: SOL 644) mixed with Titanfall. Also I just like taurs.
