Sean Newell @sean.thenewells.us · 03/05/2025Sometimes I want to take a whack at <canvas> or worker scripts. Getting work on a worker or the gpu does not feel composable and something like <script type="worker"> or type="gpu" or some extensible way of moving some work around feels like it's missing. Maybe even type="native" for wasm, idk. 000 0
Ilija Studen @istdn.bsky.social · 03/05/2025HTMX shows an interesting direction. I would expect far richer palette of standard form and layout components. 030 0
artistpw @artistpw.bsky.social · 04/05/2025Make the tags shorter like <h> and <\h>. I've never used html, but I did take classes in COBOL, assembler, java (before it was privatized for a time) and now I'm generally writing python. 000 0
Herman J. Radtke III @hermanradtke.com · 03/05/2025RSC is a great developer experience. It is so slow to transform JSX into HTML using node.js though. I end up with large clusters of servers that are CPU bound. I would love to use Rust, Go, Java, etc but RSC is so tightly coupled to a JS runtime. How do we make RSC more performant? 110 0

fragment-in-time @fragment-in-time.bsky.social · 04/05/2025First time? No context? I'd remove everything except the Hello World. Without knowing why the rest of it was there I would think it was worthless. "The server owner wants to tell me 'Hello World' what is the rest of this garbage?" 030 0
