I'm certainly not saying forget and I'm not saying there's an obligation to forgive either. I am saying that the appetite for a pound of flesh is unproductive in this instance. Maybe more information will emerge that contradicts his statement, and if it does I'll change my stance.

I honestly hope no more information does come out given the only ways that's liable to happen is the doxing of the victim or, in the worst case scenario, further victims emerge or come forwards. But we cannot proceed as if we have anything other than partial facts.
