David K Smith @professor-dave.bsky.social · 19/08/2026Isaac Newton's house makes a great stop on the A1 near Newark. Hardwick Hall makes a great stop on the M1 near Chesterfield. Cragside and Gibside are great stops just off the A1 north and south of Newcastle respectively. Many more examples but these are mine on main arteries north/south of York. 110
