17,112 people living in emergency accommodation. Since January 2025, the data shows a staggering increase of 1,826 people in emergency accommodation. It is unacceptable that this crisis is deepening, particularly among single adults who are the largest cohort in emergency beds. #Spéirgorm

The Government’s current plan is failing single adults, with potentially long-term impacts on their mental & physical wellbeing. While the new Housing Plan has a welcome focus on children & family homelessness, we cannot allow for single adults to be by-passed when investing in solutions.
