I've looked at AFI's list of the 25 Greatest Actors of the Golden Age (1920-1959) several times & being a little more seasoned in film from that era, it irks me that Harold Lloyd & Frank Sinatra are left off. They had quite a body of work. But James Dean made THREE movies & he's #18??? #TCMParty

I didn't realize that! I guess I don't pay attention to rankings. It's funniest to me that Harold Lloyd is missing because I thought that at the time he regularly out-earned/outsold his contemporaries. I can't remember where I found this ad that gives some idea of his popularity over Chaplin...
