+1e9 This isn’t just about NIH or NSF, it’s not about biology vs math/physics vs health outcomes research, not about intramural or extramural. This is a coordinated attack on ALL US science. The gov’t / academia partnership IS what makes US science. They’re trying to end all science research.

Do we know who the "brains" are behind this? Is Trump issuing edicts behind the scenes to kill science funding? Or Musk? Probably not. It's some crackpot idealogue, or Russian spy, whose gotten the ear of the Emporer.
