Important speech by Spain’s PM. I’ve posted about it before without linking to the speech. The utterly malignant #ElonMusk prepares his attack. Tech zillionaires like Zuckerberg are building giant bunkers rather than using their power to make the world better. It’s way past time to fight back.

Over the past decade, a quiet migration has taken place. Not of average people - but of the ultra-rich. Tech founders, hedge fund kings, and mysterious crypto millionaires have begun buying up land in rural New Zealand, often in cash and without public records.
Their properties aren't just remote mansions.
They're survival bunkers. Reinforced, self-sustaining, airtight. Outfitted with private airstrips, escape tunnels, solar farms, weapon caches, and enough supplies to last for years.
These aren't homes. They're ark ships for a sinking world.

Mark Zuckerberg is said to have started work on Koolau Ranch, his sprawling 1,400-acre compound on the Hawaiian island of Kauai, as far back as 2014.
It is set to include a shelter, complete with its own energy and food supplies, though the carpenters and electricians working on the site were banned from talking about it by non-disclosure agreements, according to a report by Wired magazine.
A six-foot wall blocked the project from view of a nearby road.
Asked last year if he was creating a doomsday bunker, the Facebook founder gave a flat "no". The underground space spanning some 5,000 square feet is, he explained, "just like a little shelter, it's like a basement".

I've been seeing a quote attributed to Spain's Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez floating around BlueSky these past couple of days. So here's the prime minister's comments on social media that he made in Dubai at the World Government's Summit on February 3, in their entirety.

Yeah , global warming is a hoax right? That’s also why so many properties are uninsurable. They know. Always have. What could be more sociopathic than abandoning humanity? This is basic game theory/prisoner’s dilemma….sigh

Worse still... these utter pricks are building bunkers to hide THEMSELVES from the world they created. We are all to bare the brunt of what's to come. If we were smart, we would rid the planet of them first...
