The New York Times @nytimes.com · 03/12/2024A New York Times examination found that behind the scenes, as the Supreme Court justices wrote their own code of conduct, they were split on a fundamental point: whether the new rules should — or could — be enforced. nyti.ms/3OCp9PZ 4827362
D @inventive.bsky.social · 04/12/2024Negotiating rules they never intended to follow is just fucking around and wasting time. It’s only slightly better than standing on the courthouse steps and mooning the American public. 000
Msbryte @mrsbryte.bsky.social · 03/12/2024Of course they don't want any enforcement. THEY think THEY are above the law. That's why it's so easy for them to give Trump a pass on anything he wants to do. The founding fathers are turning over in their graves. 000

Inspector Lestrade @sherlockandwatson.bsky.social · 03/12/2024Sorry. Wrong. It’s wrong. If FBI can arrest members of congress for bribery, criminal violations, crossing branches of government Executive - Legislative, then FBI/DOJ should be able to arrest SCJ Thomas & Alito for bribery and criminal violations, Executive - Judicial. No one is above the law! 120
oldmater.bsky.social @oldmater.bsky.social · 03/12/2024Such a disappointing state of affairs. Our rule of law was once the envy of the world. This Court has singlehandedly caused a loss of faith in the process. Someday legislation will be enacted to restore the integrity of the Court. Taking money out of the process is only the first step. 000
