We keep getting asked: “Are you that Apogee?” Yeah. We teamed up with id on Keen and Wolf3D. Co-created Max Payne with Remedy. Built Duke, Shadow Warrior, and launched PREY. The legacy’s real. So is what’s coming in 2025.

A collage featuring iconic Apogee characters. At the center is Duke Nukem in his classic red tank top and sunglasses, surrounded by other legendary figures: Commander Keen in his helmet holding a raygun, Lo Wang from Shadow Warrior, Max Payne in dramatic shadow, and characters from Rise of the Triad and PREY. Bullet casings fly across a fiery background, evoking retro FPS energy and Apogee’s deep gaming legacy.

And Bio Menace. Why do people keep leaving out my man Snake Logan, the hero who single-handedly saved Metro City (or what was left of it) and foiled the plans of the evil Dr. Cain?!

Title screen of "Bio Menace: Episode One - Dr. Mangle's Lab," a classic 1990s DOS action-platformer by Apogee Software, which some consider to be one of the greatest games of all time.

The image shows the game's protagonist, CIA operative Snake Logan, dressed in a bright green combat suit and ammunition belt, wearing a mullet and a moustache. Behind him looms an enormous menacing mutant creature with dark blue scaly skin, glowing green eyes, and huge razor-sharp teeth. The background depicts fiery explosions. Text at the bottom reads, "This is NOT Shareware".
