Woah! Do you guys remember my fic, “Q is for Heartbreak”? I found all the notes I took while I was writing it! archiveofourown.org/works/27482059

Handwritten notes on an index card:
“- Q takes his emotions
- Sick bay
- Hallway
- Meet with Troi
- [scribbled out]
- Engineering: break up
- Transfer? Or Data losing job?
- Talk - : ‘Data, you had emotions’.
- ‘Was that so hard?’
-Ending??”

Handwritten notes on an index card:
“- Q takes his emotions
- Med bay scene: important to showing D's lack of motivation and Geord's denial/concern - Picard makes G D's escort/etc
- Given instruction by Picard, leaves to hallway, G stops him, ‘You are in my way’
Changes in Data:
- no desire to be human
- not concerned for the safety of
crewmates
- quieter
-less active: no desire to do anything unless he's told to
- Calls everyone by full titles
- Geordi was hoping Q couldn't affect D's emotions like betazoids/etc couldn’t read them”

Handwritten notes on an index card:
“IMPORTANT:
- focus on Geordi
- nailing Data's lack of emotion
-get rid of scenes that aren't crucial
-show how much emotion Data DOES have”
