Character spread with a quarter portrait and full body figure in flat colors of a brown woman, mid 30s, short black hair and dark eyes. She sits cross-legged under a spotlight, staring at a skull she holds before her. Greek theater masks revolve above her, casting a shadow over her eyes. Spread before her are librettos, screenplays, and missing persons posters. A trail of blood seems to crawl over them, towards her.

Character spread with a quarter portrait and full body figure in flat colors of a black woman, mid 30s, shaved head, dark eyes. She sits like Lady Justice on an austere throne, "ruat caelum" inscribed on the plinth. Instead of being trodden upon, the snake entwines her leg. She tips the scales with her fingers, one plate holding a heart, the other a feather. She holds the sword upside down by the blade, drawing blood. Her blindfold is see-through. Behind her, a waning crescent moon like a halo, and the Libra constellation on a starry sky.

Character spread with a quarter portrait and full body figure in flat colors of a white woman, mid 30s, light ash brown hair, blue eyes with brown sectoral heterochromia. She sits on a stool in a pose like the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Mary, one hand pointing up, the other hovering over her bared chest, revealing bilateral prophylactic mastectomy scarring, and a bloody heart; blood trails to it from her mouth. There's stigmata on her hands and feet. Behind her, a horned shadow seems to hold her. Around her there are paint-splattered art supplies; on a canvas, a sketch of Mary breastfeeding the baby Jesus.
