Thank you for the space to share. Riverfish started off as a 24 hour comic, but we fell in love with it and decided to take our time to polish it up instead! Currently 12 pages down and 14 more to go! We upload new pages to this thread as we complete them: bsky.app/profile/tric...

River Fish page 1, 6 panels

1 - Uli sits in a cubicle speaking to a customer over a headset
Uli: That’s correct, sir, the pool is open 24 hours. Yes, that's correct. Available any time you want to go swim.

2 - Uli, exhausted, rests their chin in their hand as the conversation continues
Uli: Yes, I’m sure you’ll see it as your home away from home soon enough.

3 - Uli grabs their backpack, trying to leave for the day, but the caller won't hang up
Uli: It’s one of the most highly regarded destination packages on offer, believe you me.

4 - Uli is trying to leave but the headset cord has them tethered to their computer, and the caller still won't hang up
Uli: : Well then, we’re wishing you a most pleasant stay. Yep, okay take care now.

5 - Silhouetted shot of Uli walking on a park bridge near a river.

6 - 'Scrape scrape' onomatopoeia, and Uli turns in surprise, seeing something we can't yet see

River Fish cover page. It has monochrome watercolor speckles on the top and bottom of the page, and the title text is in the center of the page. The 's' on 'fish' turns into the swimming trail of an aquatic creature.

River Fish page 3, 5 panels

1 - Shot of a local fish market with a jolly fishmonger looking to sell his wares

2 - Closeup of fishmonger passing a piece of fish in newspaper to another customer

3 - As the fish is taken away, Uli is revealed in the background buying a big bundle of sea beans

4 - Closeup of two hands exchanging money

5 - Uli leaves the market. They have the bunch of sea beans, a bucket, a backpack, and trowel with them
