If you see this post your black and white art! 🤍🖤 The timing couldn't be better! We're about halfway through a new black and white #comic! (Read #Riverfish here! bsky.app/profile/tric...)

River Fish page 1, 6 panels

1 - Uli sits in a cubicle speaking to a customer over a headset
Uli: That’s correct, sir, the pool is open 24 hours. Yes, that's correct. Available any time you want to go swim.

2 - Uli, exhausted, rests their chin in their hand as the conversation continues
Uli: Yes, I’m sure you’ll see it as your home away from home soon enough.

3 - Uli grabs their backpack, trying to leave for the day, but the caller won't hang up
Uli: It’s one of the most highly regarded destination packages on offer, believe you me.

4 - Uli is trying to leave but the headset cord has them tethered to their computer, and the caller still won't hang up
Uli: : Well then, we’re wishing you a most pleasant stay. Yep, okay take care now.

River Fish page 3, 5 panels

5 - Uli leaves the market. They have the bunch of sea beans, a bucket, a backpack, and trowel with them

River Fish page 8, 6 panel comic

1 - Uli walks into their studio apartment and grabs a tape measure from the kitchen island

2 - Uli stretches out the tape measure with a 'swip' onomatopoeia

3 - Uli peeks through a cracked door with a 'creeaaak' onomatopoeia

4 - Shot of a full bathtub with a fantastical creature inside it. It looks like a donkey/dragon/puppy with a serpentine body. This is River Fish. It's balancing bubbles on its nose. Its tail is sticking out of the water. It's bent at an odd angle and wrapped in tape and bubble wrap

5 - The bubble on River Fish's nose pops and it recoils in surprise

6 - Uli calls "Hi, Little!" from the bathroom door. River Fish turns with an innocent, eager smile at their voice

River Fish page 9, 6 panel comic

3 - Closeup of both of them looking at the bent, bruised tail

4 - Uli pulls a big piece of duct tape

5 - River Fish curiously inspects its fresh dressing of bubble wrap and tape

6 - Uli tries to measure River Fish with the tape measure
