@gorskon.bsky.socialThink about it. If you score a 3rd percentile grant and it is rejected by Big Brother, you'd be suspicious. However, if you scored "somewhere in the top 25%" and it was rejected by Big Brother...who's to blame? Were there better grants out there than yours and they got the funding first? Who knows?
