A Sip With The Devil: Doctor Faustus + wine in Old Griffith Park, by Independant Shakespeare & Silverlake Wine. Wickedly good pours, and Marlowe's AMAZING #play, Faustus and Mephistopheles especially striking, and don't miss Helen of Troy there too. Great effects, great outdoor experience. #theater So fun to be reading through the Trojan Cycle #classics in my personal life rn, and then here's Helen of Troy pulled forward 2500 years to cameo for Faustus. This is the source of the line "the face that launched a thousand ships"!
