thanks for the lore! unfortunately, i am delusional #art #phighting #phightingart

illustrated comic featuring phighting characters. above the comic is a screenshot of the text "slingshot doesn't see coil as a friend", as stated by one of the game's developers.

slingshot says, with confusion, "are coil and i... friends? of course not!"

he turns away, revealing that he is speaking to skateboard and boombox as he serves them drinks. "always showing up at my shop just to cause trouble and be a nuisance..."

slingshot's expression turns from annoyance to sadness. "...the only reason he'd do all that must be 'cause he really hates me, right? why would someone like that want to be my friend?"

skateboard and boombox turn pale and gasp in shock. the background is filled with various doodles of coil, the two's memories of him speaking fondly of slingshot when in the privacy of their friend group, a side of him that slingshot is completely unaware of.

in the final panel, skateboard and boombox are silently and ominously looming over a nervous coil as he writes an apology letter.
