186.) The Town that Dreaded Sundown This movie was probably mad scary in one hyperspecific place at one hyperspecific time Iunno what the hell it wanted to be. A documentary? Buddy cop comedy? Slasher? Gone all-in on the last it would've been decently entertaining, but as-is it's just muddled.

187.) The Cipher (dropped) From what I got through the story itself seems great and the author is excellent at evoking a lowlife grimy feel, but fuck me having a narrator this unlikable SUCKS dude. I don't care how intentional it was, it still made every page an absolute chore to get through

If the only thing that was changed was turning the POV from 1st to 3rd so I wouldn't have to deal with Nicholas' pretentious dirtbag thoughts on *everything,* this likely would've shot from D tier straight to B or even A, easily
