Happy Freedom Day for Ann Redman, a Mulatto servant of Thomas Lloyd, she successfully sued him in court on October 7th 1697 in colonial Virginia. I believe Thomas & Ann are the parents of my 7th great grandfather, also named Thomas. My 7th great grandfather died in 1740. His son was a William Lloyd!
