Thanks for writing and sharing this, Kim. Class (in the context of lived experience) is so particular, and intersectional (in the fullest sense), and the piece addresses the generational (and related) factors clearly and usefully.

Thanks from me as well for this, Kim. The para about Cornwall holidays is an almost perfect reflection of my own family in the 90s. Have had at least one "but you're not working class" comment as well, perhaps as I don't drop my aitches and work (in a low-paid, very modest role) with books.
