Fun lore stuff: Nova is the human approximation of her draconic name. Noğa: No + a vibration/rasp/purr at the back of the throat that ends with an open "-ah". No lips involvement which is typical of dragon spoken language.
Humans can't easily replicate the sound. The closest was a v, hence Nova.
