IMO, the Marine Conservation Society does more harm than good. It mis-rates species & spreads confusion, when it should be telling us to eat less fish/simply stop. Now, FFS, it has given bluefin tuna a green rating, despite v little data. www.theguardian.com/environment/... 1/2

Bit like forest conservation standards which are all over the place, multiple versions, overlapping, many purposes - not one. Even in the EU nothing lines up. Industry standards different from consumer, etc.

Maybe look at who funds them? As a ‘conservation charity’ I’m guessing they’re funded by public donations among other sources?
