3. This is why the BBC has so assiduously promoted Farage, building him from the entirely marginal figure he was into a major political force, by giving him wall-to-wall access and coverage. Because it too, like almost all major institutions, bends like a reed to the demands of capital.

#2. Too true. And yet these patently awful snake oil sales personnel convince so many. They play an age old game of divide and conquer with disinformation, pushing buttons all too easily. I'd be pretty sure most on this platform can't believe so many gullibles fall for it, right? Again and again.
