I have ME and it was caused by the enterovirus. Viruses can cause brain injury so covid can cause brain injury. Someone once said to me that a virus can't cause much damage, I pointed out that HIV is a virus which shut him up.

Both long covid and ME have striking resemblances to (obviously trauma-induced) post-concussion syndrome (which I've had for five years), so this study comes as no surprise to me!

I would greatly prefer you stick to the WHO naming of the virus: SARS-CoV-2. shortening it to "C19" is shorter, sure, and that's what journalists like, and everybody who reads your article gets what you mean. but unnecessarily it adds to the mess that is prevalent in the COVID discussions...
