George Monbiot @georgemonbiot.bsky.social · 03/01/20242. Ukraine and possibly other neighbouring states have a great deal to fear from Trump returning to the White House. He bows and scrapes before Vladimir Putin, perhaps because Putin is the man he wants to be. 6388
George Monbiot @georgemonbiot.bsky.social · 03/01/20243. It shouldn't be difficult to oppose all imperialism: US/UK imperialism that led to the catastrophic wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. Russian imperialism visited upon Ukraine. Chinese imperialism, targeting Taiwan .... Yet some people cannot oppose one without siding with others. 55710
nan a @sorrisa7.bsky.social · 14/11/2024Afghanistan is a bit more complicated. Didn’t Russia also play huge role in what has happened there since late 1970s? 000
Menno de Boer @omedeboer.bsky.social · 03/01/2024I really enjoyed the interview with you in Wintergasten. It's great that a broader Dutch audience had the chance to hear what you have to say. And you're an Eminem fan too! 000
Michael Scott Gary @michaelscottgary.bsky.social · 06/01/2024 China is simply manipulating international maritime law by building reefs into islands. The permanent Security Council members of the UN cannot create a resolution for Taiwan. China refuses to abide by International Court decision regarding 9-dash claim. The UN again fails to mediate or resolve. 000
Michael Scott Gary @michaelscottgary.bsky.social · 06/01/2024The Maiden coup in Ukraine was orchestrated by the CIA & US State Department. Some of us can simply oppose both sides in some situations. Ukraine had Nazis performing ethnic cleansing in the SE part of their country. Russia was also wrong to invade. The UN is worthless to mediate any conflict. 000
