The two replies literally embody why I made that post. The complaint itself is completely wrong, but the sentiment of it makes complete sense.

This tweet interests me because as much as I disagree with it… there is a certain validity to the sentiment of it. However, Dimension X was already revealed in Vecna’s origin story, so this complain is moot in Stranger Things context, but at the same time, that’s not the point this guy’s making.

When I said the complaint makes sense, I was talking about the part about his complaint that was talking about the issue with threat scaling in general. Hell, the MonsterVerse is actually the BIGGEST example of this, and I’ll explain in a thread.

He never talked about the problem of of threat scaling in general. He only talked about it in Stranger Things context, in which he was wrong. You did a much better job about talking about it even if you were only talking about it in MonsterVerse context.

In King of the Monsters, King Ghidorah was shown to be the living apocalypse itself, whose storms were able to literally and absolutely submerge Washington D.C to the point where battleships can sail through it, such storms were caused by his mere existence messing up the atmosphere.
