Field sketches from the latest expedition. Old quarries, +35C during day, hard road, the loudest thunderstorm ever during the night, and quite a few Carboniferous plants found on the way

A sketchbook spread, with a drawing of an overgrown quarry, done with a bit of gouache and acrylic markers. Was too hot to draw during the day, i was barely searching for fossils. Mostly just laying down in the rocks trying not to die. What a day! Thanks to all the ants biting my ass. My true heroes, didn't let me fall asleep during the heat. Big thanks to them.
