I have been on EBT--called food stamps--at multiple times in my life. It was a necessary support that meant we didn't have to choose between food and rent. Food stamps kept us from being homeless. I have repayed back into the system more than I ever took. And am glad to do so. Fuck this dick.

Have an aunt who was on public assistance for years. Now she's full MAGA and is against PA of any kind When you point out how SHE was on PA, she gets defensive and sputters that she wasn't lazy like all those *other* people. They're all frauds and drug addicts SMH

I really don’t understand how this guy’s argument should lead to “cut them all off” because like, “too bad, figure it out” isn’t gonna teach people to budget. Their budget is likely going to other utilities and getting rid of the food burden can only be helpful.
