Proust in the age of TikTok - giftarticle.ft.com/giftarticle/... what a lovely piece by @joshspero.ft.com I've been mulling whether Proust's is one of the great novels I should reread* in the handful of decades I have left. This persuades! *actually only finished four volumes in 1996

Proust in the age of TikTok

The French writer’s seven-volume magnum opus was a challenging choice for a book club — but its evocation of the human psyche makes essential reading for our times

After a couple of false starts I have just restarted Proust - but in French. I’ll be doing it piecemeal and am just through Combray I. Thanks to your post I may just do that - and I feel less lonely in my undertaking!

Finding the time is the problem! Currently on Ulysses in the evening, maybe ten pages a day (with LLM help). Annoyingly, nothing like the movie, what was Christopher Nolan on?
