So they start noticing these patterns and make up a thesis about it without actual contextualization of these phenomenas. Just as I saw someone on Reddit absolutely TEAR DOWN a video on "angel-punk" for doing this exact same thing. It's tiring frankly

also what is it with americans never pronouncing a single japanese word right like, these are the actual subs not even the automated ones. she probably used a speech-to-text AI bc shes saying josei like jozie

good portion of us americans try to intentionally put the least effort possible into foreign words, even when they're not at all difficult to pronounce. i think it's partially contempt of non-EN, partially embarrassment at seeming like a tryhard when everybody else doesn't try to say it right either
