Jan @falcondalejan.bsky.social · 10/04/2026Thanks. I'm in a pickle because it's heavy stone, and next to grass and plants. I can sometimes manage to tip it, but I can't pour bleach on the garden. I may try vinegar or bicarb. Not sure what that will do though. 420
Leonor Silva de Mattos @leonorsmattos.bsky.social · 11/04/2026Use a hose with pressure on to move the old water out. Mix 1 part of vinegar to 9 of water, scrub well and leave it for 10 minutes. Rinse it all out (same method) and let it dry in the sun/air. Soaps strip birds’ oils and bleach can be dangerous if not well diluted - fine for feeders though. 130
