## **Eight walls where color seems to switch on.**
A pomegranate glows in Houston, reflected branches cross a portrait in Lommel, a sunset opens across a Melbourne tower, and a forge fills a Spanish façade with sparks. These eight works use contrast, shadow, reflection, and painted glare to make flat surfaces feel lit from within.

### 🍎 “Persephone’s Dream” — By Vizsla Bacon in Houston, Texas, USA 🇺🇸
Street Art for Mankind lists this Houston wall in its Big Art, Bigger Change series and connects it to SDG 12.5. The pomegranate is the brightest point; its warm reflection travels across Persephone’s hand, hair, and shoulder before the full scale of the building registers.

Geometric brushstrokes divide the portrait into warm highlights and deep shadow. The effect does not depend on night photography: the painted contrast carries the light across the wall in daylight.

### 🌸 Flower Voltage — By Paul Garson
Orange hair, pink flowers, and blue shadows give the portrait a neon-like edge without an actual light source. Garson’s small bunny mark appears inside the image rather than beside it, working as a recurring signature.
