I took the bus for most of the 15 years I've been living in Ottawa. It's always been fairly bad and hence why I was involved in transit advocacy in the early 2010. Two years ago I decided I couldn't take it anymore and started to drive to work (which is only a 10 minutes drive).
@sproudfoot.bsky.socialTransit in Ottawa is broken. Four times in the last two weeks a bus has blown by my stop, busy but not packed, and you wait 10-15 minutes for the next and hope it’s not too overloaded to stop. No one cares. You can complain to OC Transpo but you might as well write a message in a bottle.
