One final #Butterfly shot from the insect garden at the library in #Maynooth University — another Red Admiral, this time perched on a lone Black-eyed Susan with wings half-cocked ready to fly away.

A relatively wide view of a mostly black butterfly perched on a lone big dark yellow daisy with a black cone-shaped center. The focus is on the butterfly and flower, and the genetic greenery behind is in soft focus. The butterfly has striking red and white bands that evoke naval rank insignia.
