Jon Roney (@roneydives on IG) captured this juvenile yellow boxfish (Ostracion cubicum) while diving off the island of Ambon, Indonesia.
When stressed, they emit a mucus loaded with a neurotoxin called "ostracitoxin" that can cause lethal hemolysis in other fish.
