Introducing the main 4 characters!! (there are many many many more characters than this...) I'm also posting this a little early in the day since work is gonna get a bit busy but hehe as promised, here are the WIP character profiles! #WIPWednesday #TDHB #TDHBDM

Marissa Zimmerman
"I would rather hurt knowing that I tried to make things better than hurt from being too scared to try."
Age: 20-21 / Ability: N/A
A psychology/criminal justice student with dreams of following in her father's footsteps and becoming a police officer. She tends to be nosy, which leads to her enlisting the help of private investigator Aiden O'Connell with looking into her professor's mysterious disappearance. In the future, she learns that Aiden O'Connell is truly James Harris, a mysterious man who the Special & Supernatural Division (SSD) believe hold vital clues to solving a recent string of murders. But after everything that happened between them, she can't let herself trust him again--even when she can never seem to escape his orbit.

James Harris
"I make it a habit of knowing people. It's what I do."
Known Aliases: Aiden O'Connell
Age: 24-25 / Ability: "Untouchable"
As Aiden O'Connell, Marissa knew him as a sharp-witted but kind man who valued justice above all else, like her. But after learning about his involvement with her professor's disappearance, things changed between them. Now, he's an enigma. The warm man she met, the austere man she unmasked, the gentle man who soothed her at her lowest, and the violent man who resents how things ended between them--when he changes names with the ease of changing clothes, how can she be sure of who he really is?

Rebecca Ward
"Still, you're here, talking with me, instead of bottling it up or lashing out at everyone around you. That takes strength."
Age: 24 / Ability: Pyromancy
An agent for the SSD and an energetic young woman who's always looking for opportunities to crack a joke. She's deeply caring yet surprisingly guarded, though her affable nature makes her seem just a tad mysterious rather than suspicious. Marissa struggles to keep up with Becky's energy, but Becky's one of the few people who can coax a genuine smile out of Marissa.

Richard Adams
"Remember that you're the one who has all the power here--and that I will back you up, no matter what your decision is."
Age: 28 / Ability: Telekinesis
An SSD agent and a detective for the New Valore Police. He's the one who originally reached out to Marissa and introduced her to the SSD, though he shows a concern for her that verges on overbearing at times. Still, Marissa respects him as another version of her ideal "justice" and he, in turn, is constantly in wonder of her courage and wit.

An idealistic sense of justice, introduced as already being weaker than the other characters, and a tendency to push beyond her depth…girl really isn’t just heading for the blender girlie is determined on that blender being on the highest setting
