"One of Europe's greatest regeneration success stories" I worked in Stratford a few years bag for a couple of months and what I saw doesnt really fit into this framing. Below the Train station and in the shadows of the cathedral to capitalism that is the enormous new Shopping Center....1

Not just Stratford, but Ebbsfleet and Ashford too. Reopening those to EU rail traffic would alleviate the bottleneck at KingsX.

We know you'll back in the EU. It's a matter of when. Brexit was a massive paranoia that went against every conceptual achievement of the modern world. Of course you'll reverse it. Every day that passes is a day wasted. UK: stop delaying the inevitable. Join your neighbours. There's much at stake.

The channel tunnel is a great thing IMO, but Virgin is unfortunately considering sending trains tbrough the CT too. So with all this increased transport I hope they will up the maintenance- I assume they will do. It's shelf life is currently 2114, which is bound to decline with increased use.

Agree but when I miss my Southend vic train at night there and have to wait 29 mins, with no warmth, shelter, toilets or cafes on a cold, windy platform, it feels a bit third world tbh.
