Incredibly lame that Supergirl has a Walkman and the teaser is already blasting 80s music. At least Starlord was fucking born in the 1980s. Now we’ve got a contemporary 20-something woman with nostalgia for something more appropriate for - say - a 59-year old man. Gen X shit forever lol

My 17 year old regularly blasts 80s music. She recently asked for a record player as well. Gens Z and Alpha have been raised on our music, and they like it. 🤷🏻‍♀️

It might be a regional thing because, where I live, 80s style and music has been overdone even as a retro-themed thing. To the point where it is considered super unimaginative and boring to show up to a "dress in a previous decade's look" theme party as an 80s caricature. It has become basic.
