The Ring, but it’s an allegory for how unpopular Muppets is in Japan. A lot of Muppets stuff isn’t dubbed there. To most Japanese people, Muppets are an unfamiliar thing to suddenly see, not as bad as a ghost crawling out of your TV, but still. Muppets crawling out instead would be scary anywhere.
