find out who my energy supplier is and going round in circles with various suppliers and my letting agent and the building property management company. Less so. Today I found out what I have suspected all along... the account is registered as a business account and the energy board supply isn't 2/4

registered at my address (although the account itself is). And here's where DP comes in... it needs the business to make the amendments and register the property and account as a residential address and no I cannot be told if the bill is being paid by anyone or which business 3/4

holds the account. Is this really good application of data protection law? No! That isn't personal data, surely? Back to my letting agent/ the property management company I go. At least I can say I told you so, although I would rather just be able to pay my electricity bill and know it's all OK. 4/4
