For sure. There is definitely a "I'll do it because it's convenient" aspect to some of this. And I'm ok with that for myself without necessarily advocating that everyone should do it.
It seems to me that there is space between "I understand the externalities and downsides of this but I do it anyway" and "There's nothing wrong with that".
I mean, I just flew across the Atlantic...
