Yes, the GOP position is always "The Democrats didn't clean up the GOP's dumpster fire as quickly as we'd like", but remember that Obama's "war time" was cleaning up Dubya's disastrous, unnecessary wars, and did get us out of one of them, all while digging us out of the standard GOP POTUS recession.
