If Philly had just door dashers on bikes at the same rate as SF, it would remove more than 1 million vehicle miles from our streets per month.
The costs in extra traffic delays and increased road maintenance are easily in the tens of millions.

Philly's bike delivery rate actually lags many cities.
@bensh3.bsky.socialPlanners and city govts have done a really poor job thus far on recognizing delivery e-bike riders as a legitimate mode and part of the transportation calculus. If we really want to improve "community engagement" this is the first community I would want to engage!
