Seattle to San Francisco would be the last on my list. 1. It's not even in San Francisco, the drive is a bummer to Santa Clara. 2. January weather in Santa Clara isn't much better than Seattle. DC, Pittsburgh, and Memphis are way better options in terms of things to do, food, atmosphere.
