@Andreahorwath on Instagram: Photo of her and union leaders unveiling commemorative street signs. "Yesterday was an opportunity to reflect on a moment that helped shape Hamilton, and helped shape workers' rights across Canada.

Eighty years ago, Stelco workers walked off the job and onto the picket line, standing together for fairness, dignity, and a voice at work. The gains won through that strike helped lay the foundation for many of the rights and protections that workers rely on today.

Earlier in the day, I was proud to join @nrinder_ward3 and members of USW Local 1005 to unveil commemorative street signs at the intersection of Industrial Drive and Wilcox Street, marking the 80th anniversary of the strike and ensuring this important chapter of Hamilton's history remains visible for generations to come."
