Fatalis *does* destroy a whole kingdom, but it was a while ago and the danger it presents now is mostly hypothetical in the sense that it hasn't happened yet. so throughout 5/5u the stakes don't really feel... 'real'? there are a few moments where the tracker ends up in a sticky situation

and the handler is like "nooooo! we gotta go back and save her!" which are like. about as intense as it gets but because of how it's framed it doesn't really feel like she's gonna die. Like she's In Danger but everything's gonna be fine in the end.

and then it almost feels like they're actually going to kill off aiden and while they don't the serious handler says this and for a moment it feels like we're playing a completely different game. and it makes me wonder what a mh like that (one with Stakes) would feel like.
