Finale be damned—I’m still putting out new-ish stuff! Today in the feed, the Did I Do That? live show at Seattle Design Festival with guest Terry Marks is up on stage! It’s a great fun time and hard to imagine we recorded it OUTSIDE given the current temps. Listen at dididothat.design!

We talked through the terrifying IRL proportions of my alma mater’s former mascot, the curse of eternal life (via stock photo modeling), and InDesign’s spellcheck dictionary. It’s a good time if you need something to brighten up this morning!

A bronze statue of a horrifyingly bobble-headed “mountain man” figure, sits in a garbage dump with a tire dangling from the brim of his “cowboy” hat. And on the statue’s base, these words appear: “My name is Hey Reb!, King of Kings; Look on my Works, ye Mighty, and despair! And yes, the exclamation mark is part of my name, stop asking about it.”

A common image of a man posing for a stock photo who is on the verge of tears, smiling through the pain.

Bad suggestions for what word InDesign might think you mean if it doesn’t know the word Louisville. “Louse vile” isn’t my best work, but I bet Louisvillians still will NOT like it.
