It occurs to me that positive feelings re: Pope Leo might help rehabilitate some folks’ perceptions of St. Augustine. I'm not sure what could do the same for mischaracterizations of Paul. Regardless, the last few years have underlined the ongoing Augustine’s ongoing relevance.
